8-Day Danakil, Gheralta and Lalibela Itinerary
This Ethiopia adventure tour combines Danakil Depression, Gheralta rock churches, Axum heritage and Lalibela landmarks in one smooth route.

Day 1
Addis to Semera, Afdera and Ahmed Ela Camp: Fly to Semera, drive via Afdera salt lake, and continue to Ahmed Ela camp in Afar.

Day 2
Dallol, Salt Caravans and Erta Ale: Visit Ragad salt fields, see camel caravans, then hike Erta Ale for the lava lake at sunset.

Day 3
Erta Ale Sunrise to Hawzen: Watch sunrise at the crater and drive toward Hawzen in the Gheralta area.

Day 4
Abuna Yemata Guh and Axum: Climb to Abuna Yemata Guh and continue to Axum with optional Yeha area visits.

Axum Highlights and Addis Flight: Explore major Axum sites and fly back to Addis Ababa in the afternoon.

Addis to Lalibela Northern Churches: Fly to Lalibela and visit the northern church cluster.
